Alas, as if contributing to record sales alone was not enough to gain access to the rap community, the world has been introduced to Rap Shirts For White People. It seems that the concept for the shirt is to appropriate many popular lines in today’s rap to the often stereotypical lives of white people.
Nowadays, anything is liable to set off social media race wars, but in the name of comedy, these shouldn’t. They’re actually funny. The fact that the shirts contain polarizing statements when compared to the original lyrics and could possibly spark awareness that will hopefully shed light on the differences and make you wonder “why?”
