Vans is hitting the summer hard with its latest installment of the Golden Coast Collection. The Golden Coast Collection was inspired by the early years of California’s skate and surf scene. From humble beginnings in Orange County, California nearly fifty years ago, board and bike enthusiasts of the ’60s and ’70s gravitated towards Vans for its function. Concurrently, the shoes’ unique designs made them a fashion icon.
To pay homage, Vans’ Golden Coast Collection features allows wearers to reminisce over the time period with a special series of checkerboard and two-toned color-ups in vintage tones by way of the Authentic, Classic Slip-On, Era, Sk8-Hi Reissue & Style 36.
