When it comes to sneakers, originality is far from used when it comes to the designs. But in some cases we do get some dope one of kinds like Camper brand’s Himalaya and Isabel Marant’s infamous sneaker wedge. This time Karl Lagerfeld decided to take us back on what we all new as a trainer but, New Balance wasn’t too happy about the design.
As of “June 3, 2014 New Balance filed lawsuit against Karl Lagerfeld to protect our intellectual property rights related to our iconic Lifestyle footwear designs. Although we cannot comment on the specifics of the case, we believe it is vital to actively and vigorously defend our brand,” a New Balance spokeswoman says.
There is definitely a huge resemblance especially the letter placement. Only time will tell and we will keep you posted.
