Ever have a nostalgic craving? Well look no further as Audra The Rapper provides that with the visuals for Nutter Butters.
Similar to the popular peanut butter cookie sandwich from the 70s’, Audra delivers a classic sweet Hip-Hop feel with a savory flow and lyrics that are deliciously filling that’s perfectly complimented by the music video, which were directed and edited by Martin $trange.
When asked what inspired the video, Audra states, “The inspiration behind coming up with the treatment for the visual was easy; everyday raps for everyday people in an everyday setting doing everyday sh!t. People have gotten so accustomed to seeing female artists in leotards that they forget that isn’t life, that doesn’t exist outside of Greenich Village. This video was natural and effortless. Just wanted to bring the focus on the raps.”
Audra The Rapper will be releasing Retrospectrum this summer.
