When they go back and make Nicki Minaj‘s highlight reel, just imagine how many different moments in 2014 will be included. The Diane Martel-directed “Pills ‘N’ Potions” just adds to what’s been a stellar year for the Queens native, not to mention a show-stealing set at Hot 97’s Summer Jam concert just over a week ago. The video, which features The Game as Nicki’s boy toy–she literally cradles his floating head as if it were a basketball at one point–is in keeping with the emotionally charged lyrics of the Dr. Luke-produced track–the first sight we get of Nicki is her smoking a cigarette, seemingly distressed.
