Hasan Kale is a very special artist. While most artists who love to paint, and find conventional canvases more than sufficient to express their ideas, Mr. Kale begs to differ. Peanut shells, butterfly wings, bits of chocolate, it doesn’t matter, he can elaborately paint highly definitive landscapes. Most of his depictions are of Instanbul.
