Police Say Shooting Outside ScHoolboy Q/Nas Concert Was No Coincidence

This story is getting progressively worse.

After a ScHoolboy Q and Nas show went down in Denver, Colorado this past weekend, unfortunate events, including a shooting in the parking lot following the event became the topic of conversation for much of the weekend. Initial reports indicated that ScHoolboy Q was involved in some sort of “melee” that resulted in his arrest, but quickly developing details painted a more morbid picture. The TDE rapper, whose album debuted at #1 on Billboard earlier this year, was actually in a car that was shot at multiple times prior to his being detained.

The latest update from several sources include a quote from police officials in Denver, who are calling the incident no coincidence, and have deemed the shooting a targeted incident rather than a random one.

“This is not just a coincidence. We think there is probably more to it than that. It does seem to be more targeted than random”, said a representative of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

A suspect, who is allegedly about 6-feet tall, managed to flee the scene with a rifle.
