Wishin On The God
A new offering from a hip hop legend is always something to get excited about. Especially when the track happens to be pretty damn smooth.
Here we have Wu-Tang general Raekwon dropping off some nice bars over Rose Royce‘s classic 70’s record “Wishing On A Star. While many such as Jay Z on “Wishing On A Star” or Masta Ace‘s on his track “Beautiful” have used the very well known track as a sample for an original beat, Rae decided to rap over the actual throwback track itself!
This song is apparently the first in what will be a weekly occurrence for The Chef, dropping a “throwback track”, until the release of his album F.I.L.A.
