It’s all been cleared up, finally. We’ve been skeptical about Columbus Short for these past few months, with his slew of incidents that occurred surrounding his somewhat “violent” background. In a recent interview with Atlanta’s V-103 radio station, Short discussed the bar fight that happened back and March and his reason for knocking a man out cold seems pretty legit.

“I had to defend my wife at a bar. This man was being highly, highly disrespectful … slapping her in the face with $20 bills…and it got to that point.”

Yikes, that’s pretty disrespectful but I’m sure everyone is still wondering if Short possibly went too far. Previously the only information we knew was that Short had knocked out Felton Hyche III because he had said or done something to his wife. And according to Short, Hyche got physical first. Check out the interview below. Skip to the 5:26 mark to hear Short detail about the incident.
