Looks like BIG K.R.I.T., Pro Era, Lee Bannon, Smoke DZA, Va$htie, Fat Trel, Nephew, and Cashius Green have a new compatriot in the Green nation of Cinematic Music Group. They recently added Mick Jenkins to its impressive roster of artist representation. It was only a matter of time before the Chicago emcee took his talents to a recognized group like CMG. And in usual rapper fashion when they sign somewhere, Mick gives us another single off his highly anticipated The Water[s] project.

The Chuck Strangers produced cut (didn’t see that one coming) gives a light, aquatic feel as Mick growls his verse. He continues with the water metaphor as he whets your brain’s appetite with knowledge on the backwards culture that many of us are stuck in, at least in the Hip-Hop realm. I swear if Mick started a church, he’d be the most successful preacher just for his ability to entertain while educating.
