Brandy crosses the burning sands of Alpha Kappa Alpha
Singer Brandy announced that she is now part of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and joins the ranks of her fellow honorary sorors like singer Alicia Keys and actress Jada Pinkett Smith. The sorority was founded on January 15, 1908 on the campus of Howard University and over the past 106 years they have chose the most successful women in the world.
The singer wanted to honor the tradition that the sorority is known for and also her mother is part of the sorority. There was a celebration for her, where she posed with her mother and did the signature ivy pose.
She expressed her happiness by saying this:
