Someone’s getting fired
Paramount Pictures Australia recently unveiled a new movie poster for the upcoming ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ film (pictured above) via twitter. Take a close look at it, what do you notice most?
Maybe it’s the questionable arrangement of human like figures (obviously they’re technically turtles, but still) jumping from a burning building (especially knowing the Turtles are NYC based) , maybe its the fact that the film comes out September 11th, maybe it’s the idea that when you pair these two things together it looks CRAZY, and not in a good way.
Upon the release of the poster as you can imagine, social media went into an uproar. While it is a little less flagrant knowing that the release date shown on this poster is for the Australia, it is still a huge oversight and one that makes you wonder just how no one stopped this before it went out. They’ve since deleted the tweet and will most likely not use the poster going forward, regardless the damage is done.
