Mike D of the legendary Beastie Boys speaks on the how the Biggie/Tupac feud changed Hip Hop

Michael Diamond better known as Mike D spoke on Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G., recently during his interview with Vanity Fair. A founding member of the New York City, hip hop group the Beastie Boys.

Tupac, a well-known American rapper and actor, was shot several times in an intersection drive-by shooting in Las Vegas, NV, September 7, 1996. Ranked as one of the greatest rappers of all time, Tupac, better known as 2pac has sold over 75 million records worldwide.  

Christopher Wallace, an American rapper, who is better known as, The Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie Smalls. He became the face of East Coast hip hop, with 17 million sales in the United States.  Smalls, also had a successful group, Junior M.A.F.I.A. Wallace was gunned down in Los Angeles, also in a drive-by shooting.
