After a delay and some iffy information Remy is finally home

Remy Ma is free, Per Revolt, her Instagram, and an another appearance on Angie Martinez; where she cleared up the fact that her call to Angie last week was not the cause of the delay in her release.

The Source spoke to officials at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility this morning who confirmed that Reminisce Smith aka “Remy Ma” currently does not have a release date. Department of Corrections and Community Supervision public information officer Linda Foglia told us:
Her July 31st release date was delayed due to a pending misbehavior report that is required to be resolved before she can be released
When asked why this information seemed unknown to most, including friends and family who waited for her at the facility as well as numerous media outlets and even her own verified twitter account counting down the days ,Foglia responded
” I don’t know, the inmate was informed that the unresolved ticket would have to be resolved, how she communicated that to family and friend I’m unsure of”
Today is the day many have been waiting for with one of hip hioos favorite female rappers finally being released from her 6 year stint in prison, Remy Ma is finally coming home.
Earlier today it was reported that Remy had been released, however recently (as of 2:36 pm) eastern Revolt is reporting that Remy Ma will not be released today due to a “disciplinary problem” on July 21st. If this news proves true it is pretty tragic blow considering she was so close to being released. The fact that earlier today reports were springing up everywhere that she had indeed been released as well as an envoy of cars waiting on her makes you wonder how at the last hour this could pop up.
