Emeli Sande is turning to social media for inspiration for her new song “Exhilaration.”

Music meets automobiles in new partnership with award-winning, singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé and premier manufacturer of luxury vehicles, Jaguar. Emeli will be creating a custom song titled “Exhilaration” created in part from a social campaign where fans of the singer and the brand are encouraged to share what makes them feel exhilarated through Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Emeli will pull inspiration from submissions through the hashtag #FEELXE  as she writes her track to create a truly customized song.

As part of the global launch for the brand new Jaguar XE, the brand will be working with the British star as the first participant in their new series, Jaguar’s ‘XE Forward Thinkers’.   Jaguar will unveil the Jaguar XE, the latest addition to its sports sedan car family, at a star-studded event in London on September 8, 2014 where Emeli will debut the song with a special performance.


“I’m excited about working with Jaguar on the FEEL XE campaign and with an incredible British brand. The new XE is innovative in its design and I can’t wait to start collaborating with the world, looking at what defines exhilaration for them and premiering the track in London at what is going to be an incredible event!” Sande said in a statement.

The event will mark the unveiling of a true driver’s car; one that redefines the concept of the sports sedan and features advanced suspension design which will offer thrilling performance, agile handling and precise, responsive steering, with outstanding levels of refinement. The ‘Exhilaration’ track will be available for download on Jaguar channels after its reveal.

Idris Elba and designer Stella McCartney will also be unveiling collaborations with Jaguar for their XE Forward Thinkers series.
