San Antonio Spurs All-Star guard Tony Parker has signed a three-year contract extension worth $43.3 million on Friday (August 1), league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Parker will earn $12.5 million in the 2014-15 seasons, and his extension will start in the 2015-16 season. He will make $13.4 million, $14.4 million and $15.4 million during the extension, a league source said.

“I’m very happy and I want to play for the Spurs my whole career and be a Spur for life,” Parker told the San Antonio Express-News.

Parker, who turned 32 in May, played an essential role in the Spurs’ fifth championship this season. He averaged 16.7 points and 5.7 assists in 29 minutes in a game for the Spurs, which, by the way, whom he spent his entire 13 NBA seasons with.

Furthermore, it is evident that Parker is extremely talented; he’s been an All-Star six times.
