Tip takes his turn on the viral record
Bobby Shmurda‘s “Hot N***a”, in and of itself, is a remix–Lloyd Banks crafted the original record, “Jackpot”, over the Jahlil Beats production–but it is Shmurda who gets credited whenever rappers re-make that song, and to an extent, rightfully so.
We digress.
T.I. has remixed the remix, and in typical Tip fashion, he blacks out. It isn’t anything out of the ordinary–He’s been doing this for oh, I don’t know, the past decade–but with his Pharrell-exec. produced album, Paperwork: The Motion Picture, due out before 2015 hits, and two ridiculously hot singles burning up the radio, consider this another cog in the wheel of Tip’s first Columbia Records album roll-out.
