With accolades like being voted best local rapper by Vita.mn and the success of Lost Summer, the debut album with collaborator, Tru, which peaked at #12 on CMJ Hip-Hop charts under his belt, it can be easy to overlook the fact that Minneapolis based rapper/producer, Vision the Kid has kept quite busy in the Twin Cities.
But with the amount of success they’ve accomplished, the duo is still pushing forward and looking to build momentum as their latest endeavor, BrokenRadioLove, has been holding a Top 40 spot on the CMJ Hip-Hop charts for multiple weeks. Vision the Kid and Tru definitely have a sound that is infectiously good and while they’re making more than enough noise in the City of Lakes, this Hip-Hop duo has everything it takes to become nationally known.
