It seems like Peyton Manning and Eli Manning have quite the rap career ahead of them after following up their hit single “Football On Your Phone” with their latest DirecTV ad “Fantasy Football Fantasy”.
The new rap video features cameos from their dad Archie Manning, Jets RB Chris Johnson and legendary QB Joe Namath aka Broadway Joe. Peyton delivers hot lines like ”It’s like catching a football from me, then open it and its full of nacho cheese!” and “It’s like football fantasy like no other, like having a best friend that’s your quarterback brother”. And of course there’s Eli’s amazing use of auto tune.
The video has almost 3 million views, so are the brothers watching the throne?
“I do not think that Jay Z or Kanye have anything to worry about, put it that way,” Peyton said after Broncos practice Tuesday via the Denver Post.
Peyton says his wardrobe was all props but not Eli.
“That was a prop,” Peyton said of his gold chain. “Eli brought his own outfit. Very disturbing, but he had it in his wardrobe.”
Well there’s no future rap career for the duo but hopefully they keep the DirecTV ads coming.
