House Of Vans London Opening Was Off The Chain: Skaters, Public Enemy Performance’s & More

We In The House

Following in the footsteps of its Brooklyn predecessor, House of Vans has officially landed at London’s Old Vic Tunnels in Waterloo.

On Thursday, footwear brand Vans delivered a sleek event to celebrate the opening. Van’s executive Steve Van Doren came down to cut the ribbon and legendary riders Danny Wainwright, Tony Alva and Christian Hosoi gave the bowl a go.

The music line up was not too shabby either – Public EnemyDinosaur Jr, Savages & Roots Manuva  definitely got the crowd going.

The five tunnels spread over 30,000 sqft are home to a gallery, café, bars, office space, a music venue, cinema and London’s only indoor skatepark which consists of a concrete bowl, mini ramp and street section.
The crowd at the event was absolutely buzzing as the space is a huge contribution to London’s community – bringing street culture, art and music together. Stay rad London – go online and book your free skateboarding or BMX session now at the HouseOfVansLondon.com website.
