Still showcasing her sensuous signature vocals, Goapele’s new album is set to give us a little something different
Teasing us into a new direction, Goapele is set to release her fifth album, Strong As Glass next month. The soulful singer released the single ‘‘Hey Boy,’’ co-written with British singer, Estelle, at the beginning of the summer, but it’s never to late to catch the feeling that comes with it. The sound: A contemporary, upbeat and feel good track that leaves us excited to hear what’s to come.
13 years on from Goapele’s debut album, Closer it seems like it’s a time of evolution as the singer also became one of the first R&B artists to sign to BMG/Primary Wave Artist Services, along with Eric Benet and Calvin Harris.
