Love is love and although some parts of America isn’t fully open to gay marriage yet, it will never stop it from actually happening.
On Friday, August 15th WNBA star Brittney Griner propsed to her girlfriend Tulsa Shocks glory Johnson. She shared the wonderful news through instagram by posting photos of the event which can be seen here.
The lovely couple is excited for their new beginning acclaimed as a basketball power couple. Griner is a two-time WNBA All-Star for the Phoenix Mercury, former NCAA champion and the 2012 AP Division I Player of the Year. Meanwhile, her fiancée is the SEC Defensive Player of the Year in 2012 at Tennessee before being picked No. 4 overall in the 2012 WNBA draft by the Tulsa Shock.
