Things have gotten terribly bad right now in Ferguson, MO.  CNN is showing intense video of the events that are ensuing.  Steve Kastenbaum a CNN producer has said gunfire was heard and muzzle flashes were seen coming from a parking lot , seemingly directed at police.  HOWEVER

There have also been reports from many local citizens that protests were peaceful and in line with curfew when teargas was unexplainably fired at them.
Kastenbaum also mentions there was as specific incident with a protestor definitely walking toward police and being reportedly warned numerous times to stop who was definitely shot with rubber bullets. He also mentions there were children in the crowd of protestors all day and evening long.
CNN reporting 2 reporters from The Telegraph & Financial times have been arrested, very briefly by Captain Johnson, and were then released when police realized this was a bad look.  Johnson is apparently furious that media is getting in the way..  Also that protestors threw Molotov cocktails at police.

Huffpost & CNN reporter Marc Lamont Hill reporting a “code 2000” is in place meaning all law enforcement is in area, regardless of jurisdiction.
He told story of getting out of his car and immediately being drawn on by police
Captain Todd of the St. Louis police has confirmed “shots have been fired west 4th & chambers”
