Clap back
The Missouri Police Force will be dealing with a problem of a different caliber when they get to their offices next week, and that’s one major legal problem. Between August 11th and August 13th, six people were arrested during protests following the Michael Brown shooting, and they’ve come together to slap a $40 million lawsuit on the task force.
The allegations include one plaintiff, who says he was beaten and shot with rubber bullets as he tried to visit his mother, and another, who says she was ordered out of a McDonalds with her son, thrown to the ground, and handcuffed at rifle point.
These are just a snapshot of what must have been hundreds and hundreds of atrocities that occurred in Ferguson, St. Louis, and surrounding territories in the immediate aftermath of the Michael Brown shooting.
Hopefully, a full investigation is launched, and more people that were wronged come forward and join forces with the 6 initial plaintiffs.
