When Rocksteady Studios created Batman: Arkham Asylum back in 2009, the bar for Batman video games was low. They exceeded the moderate expectations, creating a definitive Batman video game experience and finally doing the Dark Knight justice. Batman: Arkham Asylum went on to win several awards and spawned two sequels Arkham City (2011) and Arkham Origins (2013). The final installment for the Batman: Arkham series, Batman: Arkham Knight will be the Caped Crusader’s debut on next-generation consoles, and will finally give everyone a chance to man the coveted Batmobile.

Arkham Knight was given a tentative, 2014 holiday season release date when it was first announced. Unfortunately, today we learn that WB Games has pushed back the release of the game to June 2, 2015. Adding salt in the wound, they’ve unveiled the two collectors editions of the game, both boasting some pretty awesome treats. The Limited Edition version will come in a Steelbook case which includes an 80-page art book, a statute and the Batman: Arkham Knight comic book for a modest $99.99. The real gem is the Batmobile Edition which comes with…you guessed it… a Batmobile. The Batmobile Statue is fully transformable, just as it is in the game, and will be coupled with the aforementioned knick knacks as well for $199.99.
