He’s not taking “no” for an answer
President Barack Obama addressed the nation today in what’s proving to be a very precarious time for the country. In several different facets of everything from popular culture to politics to international affairs, there are things going awry that would make the most serene of presidents fret. Well, POTUS was anything from serene today, as he delivered a speech, clocking in at just under 20 minutes, in as irate a manner as you’ll find Pres. Obama these days. Among the topics that were addressed were, of course ISIS, the Islamic State Extremist group responsible for taking the lives of two American journalists, and Obama used that incident as a platform for a bigger agenda that he made sure was clear to everyone watching.
I have made it clear that we will hunt down terrorists who threaten our country, wherever they are. This is a core principle of my presidency: If you threaten America, you will find no safe haven.
