Last thing you want to do is get this guy mad
Mike Tyson is promoting his one man show, Undisputed Truth, and he made an appearance on a news channel, CP24, in Toronto, and it didn’t go to well. In a specific question, the interviewer handling the Tyson interview referred to Tyson as a “convicted rapist” while asking Tyson about the effect his image will have on endeavors like Undisputed Truth. Tyson didn’t take too kindly to that, and replied by saying, You’re the only one I heard say that, you know what I mean? And I don’t have no comment to that. Because it’s negative and you’re being negative and I met the Mayor. There’s nothing they can do about it.” He wasn’t finished, here’s the icing on the cake. “You come off as a nice guy but you’re really a piece of sh*t.”
Honestly, that seems like a pretty mild response from a guy who’s known for knocking men senseless. Regardless of what Tyson may be known for, it did appear that the anchor was straying a bit, and trolling Tyson in an attempt to throw him off his game, or be funny. The interviewer, Nathan Downer, probably didn’t get in the same elevator as Tyson on their way out of the building.
