Sneakah Boutique’s New #BEEDOPE Capsule Collection With Cross Colours

Over the years, streetwear has become very popular and innovative crossing many boundaries. Currently we see streetwear clothing in suburban areas,  international countries, and even on fashion runways.  Cross Colours was one of the leading streetwear brands founded by Carl Jones in 1989.  It was worn by many celebrities such as TLC, Snoop Dog and LL Cool J. They were known for their stark color blocking technique, vibrant apperance  and their message of positivity by the motto of “clothes without prejudice.” As time went on other brands like Sean John, Phat Farm, Pelle Pelle and Fubu steadily grew while Cross Colours slowly lost popularity.  Now, Cross Colours is reinventing the brand to follow the trends of todays society by collaborating with up and coming retailer Sneakah Boutique.

Sneakah Boutique is located in Teaneck, NJ and also is available on the web. Founded by Nailah Wright, Sneakah Boutique caters to retro lifestyle brands. Nailah states, “We view ourselves not just as an average boutique, but as an experience. Our mission is to provide high quality, one-of-a-kind product that preserve originality and enhance social essence.”  This vision connected Nailah to Carl Jones.

Cross Colours collaborated with Sneakah Boutique for their #BEEDOPE Capsule Collection this fall.  The five piece collection comes with 2 campers, a snapback, a crop top and a T-shirt ranging from $29.99 to $34.99.  Each item is carefully crafted for the consumer by having slight changes in what is trending in the fashion world and is available for men and women. The crop top in the collection is hand crafted in the back to create a unique stylistic element that will make you stand out from the rest of the crowd. With this collaboration original Cross Colours aesthetic changed while still staying true to its foundation. Instead of heavy color blocking, the people at Sneakah Boutique decided to stay true to the Fall color way of red, blue, green, burgundy yellow and black.  Each item comes with the Cross Colours tag with Sneakah Boutique’s “SB” initial, cross branding the two retailers. In addition, the hashtag #BEEDOPE can also be found printed on the merchandise. #BEEDOPE  inspires young people to express themselves through fashion and have confidence in what they wear.
