The hair experts behind Olivia Garden were on hand to compliment Williams’ edgy-yet-wearable looks with an effortlessly chic hairstyle.  Models’ pin-straight tresses were brushed straight back from the forehead, creating a polished, streamlined look that works well for both day and night. The Source Magazine had the opportunity to speak with hair stylist Victor Castro backstage before the show:

Can you tell us a little bit about the vision for this hair look, and what you did to achieve it?

What we’re doing for the show today is we’re smoothing out all the models’ hair and flat-ironing it.  Then, what we’re doing is creating a little bit of an elevated root throughout the top, not slicking it back but pushing it back.  We’re gently pushing it back.  I wouldn’t call it a sleek look, but it’s definitely a neater look, and very simple and elegant.

Are you using specific brushes?

Yes, we’re using the Olivia Garden brushes–mainly paddle brushes, but also teasing combs and teasing brushes, for smoothing purposes.
