After closing out the annual One Music festival at Lakewood Amphitheater Nas arrived at Compound in Atlanta with an entourage of 25 people and partied through the night.
He enjoyed the many Hennessy V.S bottle parades that arrived at his table. Resident DJ Ace kept the party going playing 8 of Nas’s records back to back as NAS danced and sang his songs surrounded by his friends as he celebrated his birthday. The bash was presnted by Hennessy V.S. He is the face of the brands award-winning “Never stop. Never settle.” campaign.

Hennessy V.S held a private dinner in celebration of Fat Joe’s new single release “Stressin” featuring J-Lo at his favorite restaurant Peter Lugers Steakhouse. Fat Joe had just finished shooting his video for the hit single which took place in NYC. Invited guests were good personal friends of Joe’s as well as mega video director Eif Rivera and infamous cinematographer Joe Labisi. Joe shared stories of his success, his experience working with J-Lo, Irv Gotti, and Eminem as well as his venture with Market America – a true embodiment of what it means to never stop and never settle. Guests enjoyed Hennessy V.S “No Stress” drinks which was the featured drink of the night. The drink is made with Hennessy V.S, pineapple juice, splash of lemon/lime soda and garnished with a lime. Before the dinner had come to an end Fat Joe was with a Hennessy V.S limited edition Shepard Fairey bottle to add to his collection.

In Seattle, Activision and Bungie celebrated the launch of Destiny. Joining the celebration were fans of the game, including actor Joe Manganiello, actor and hip hop artist Common, actor Lance Reddick and safety Earl Thomas of the Seattle Seahawks. Destiny – rated Teen – launches tomorrow, September 9th at all major retailers and is available on Sony PlayStation 4, Sony PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 from Microsoft. Actor and hip hop artist Common joined Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas to take on the Darkness and save humanity. Common reminisced how he grew up playing video games and loves to play online with his buddies. He spent the night playing as a Hunter in Destiny. Lance Reddick also lent his voice to the game, playing the character Commander Zavala, the Titan Vanguard who helps equip and mentor fellow Titans in the Tower. In Destiny, you are a Guardian of the last city on Earth, able to wield incredible power. Destiny brings together the thrill and excitement of first-person shooter games, along with an unprecedented combination of cooperative, competitive, public, and personal activities seamlessly woven into an expansive, persistent online world.

The highly-anticipated event brought celebrities, taste makers and style icons from the world of fashion, film, television and music together. Style Icon and author of 360 Style, Nicky Hilton hosted this special night toasting Fashion Week in the city that never sleeps. Skechers showcased their latest fashionable collections, Pure-Silk presented guests with samples of their new shaving cream, Boohoo.com, Manchester’s best kept fashion will be offered gift certificates and coupons for their website, Morgan Taylor garnised guests with trendy nail designs, Sobieski Vodka, Bartenura Wines and Myx Moscata provided cocktails while Peroni provided beer.
