There are many words that come to mind when you think of ‘Born Ready’ and I guess “Rapper” is on that list (stay with me guys). Bedside’s becoming a bonafide player in the league, the Brooklyn baller attempted to test his skills on the mic. Adding to the long list of rappers jumping on this track, I think we all can agree for a ball player Lance Stephenson isn’t half bad.
Sporting a vintage Larry Johnson Jersey, Lance spits about his life and apparently watching “AI getting’ 40 with the French braids.” Those may sound like some minimal bars but he does big up his new backcourt mate Kemba Walker so I guess that’s a win. Nonetheless, watch the video above and take a listen for yourselves. I guess when Drake rapped “I swear sports and music are so synonymous ’cause we want to be them, and they want to be us”, Lance heard that loud and clear.
