Hood By Air created an elaborate eerie set up, where the guests had to go through abandoned-looking concrete halls with red lights, and step into the different rooms. Each room featured a few otherworldly looking models with fierce attitude and a head to toe “ I am too cool” ensembles.

While the ghostly church/electronic tunes played in the background, guests seemed to enjoy the Paris scene from the huge windows of the venue. The outfits included pleated leather pieces with metal details. Black was the predominant color, yet a few bone looks got a lot of attention. Very intricate leather looking quilted garments hugged the bodies of the models flawlessly. The untraditional route taken in the presentation went perfectly with the clothes ad succeeded in creating an experimental experience.

The Source Magazine was invited the cover the beauty look backstage by MAC Cosmetics. We spoke with lead  artist Daniel Sallstrom.

“Now we are backstage, 30 minutes before the show. It is pretty mental!

The look this season that we are going for is almost like a natural beauty but almost like an alien. It is all very soft and it is super shiny.

It is all about sheer. The whole look it’s about glossy eyes, extremely glossy skin, the only real structure is the brows. The brows are more fitted towards the back .

The inspiration really for me was to still be true to the brand and that was different and not so fashion based but still have real beauty behind it. ”
