Sophomore standout Jameis Winston has been one of the main topics to debate about everywhere you can turn your head towards. Whether it’s on ESPN, at work or at the barbershop, Famous Jameis is a slowly becoming a reliable source for the media to give the public something to talk about. Just 4 weeks into the college football season, Winston’s off the field action have landed him in trouble, this time with the school administration. The two sport All-American was suspended for last week’s game vs Clemson for screaming obscene and foul language inside of the institution’s cafeteria. His suspension nearly caused the Seminoles winning streak and perfect season as they snuck past a tough Clemson Tigers squad 23-17, thanks to a game winning overtime rushing touchdown by Karlos Williams. Winston’s latest debacle has many NFL scouts and coaches becoming very adamant of drafting the talented Alabama product. ESPN’s NFL draft expert analyst Mel Kiper,Jr. recently dropped Winston a whopping 22 spots, from 3 to 25, since news of his recent events was announced. In addition, some scouts believe that he may need to stay another 2 years to grow a better sense of maturity as they feel that he carries a lot of off the field baggage, a issue in which it needs to be addressed for there’s any thought of declaring himself eligible for the 2015 NFL Draft. Warchant.com blogger Ira Schoffel had this to say about the lottery pick hopeful:

As Florida State is currently ranked #1 in the nation with a record of 3-0, The Seminoles looks like they can be a strong candidate to win the first ever College Football Playoff. With a strong consistent defense and a laundry list of talented playmakers, the Seminoles only concern they need to address urgently is the head honcho in the huddle. Already dubbed as one of the most talented football players to step foot on the campus of Florida State, can Coach Jimbo Fisher finally installed some discipline into this star athlete? Will Jameis Winston continue to go down the wrong route which may lead to a waste of talent? We can only find out as this bright, exciting college football season flourishes.
