Whenever President Obama comes to New York City, it’s probably a good idea to use public transportation to cruise around town.

Manhattan’s midtown traffic was disrupted on Tuesday with the week’s gathering of world leaders at the United Nations, which the President is attending. Obama was also the keynote speaker at former President Bill Clinton’s three-day Global Initiative. While giving the keynote speech at CGI, Obama joked about the traffic, saying that expectant Chelsea Clinton could have his motorcade if she went into labor during his speech.  “It’s pretty smooth for me,” joked the President.

“Everybody hypes the traffic. But I don’t know.”

Obama also praised former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton calling his decision in appointing her as Secretary of State “one of the best . . . I ever made as President.” He furthered his rave review of Clinton saying that she seems to be enjoying her life after the State Department.  “She has the post-administration glow,” said Obama. “She looks much more rested.”

President Obama will give a general assembly speech to the U.N. this morning.
