Big Sean has reignited his buzz as of late, and thankfully, it has more to do with the four bangers he released about two weeks ago than it has to do with what’s rumored to be a budding romance between himself and the young pop superstar, Ariana Grande. Aside from the duo’s numerous collaborations and the photographs of them holding hands backstage at the MTV VMAs, Grande’s recent comments about Big Sean may have had something to do with all the romance whispers. She had this to say when she was on with Ryan Seacrest.

I mean, I guess, curiosity man, it’ll kill you. I don’t know what to say, Ryan. Why are you doing this me? I’ll tell you when we’re not on the air. I trust you. I’ve known you a long time. I don’t know about these millions of people listening in right now.

Not to speculate but, I mean, would she have to “trust” millions of people with “we’re not involved”? Hmm. Either way, this time it was Sean’s turn to answer Seacrest’s pressing questions, and when the subject of Grande came up, Sean’s comments were as follows.

I’m like a big fan, I know where I’m at. I’m at On Air with Ryan Seacrest. [But] I like to keep my personal life personal. You know what I’m saying? But I am going to tell you this: That Ariana is very, very special. She’s very special to me. Everything she has going on is good with her, everything I have going on is good with me, everything between me and her is good, and I’m just going to leave it at that.

Oh, get a room. We know what’s up here. If our speculations are confirmed, it’s good to see that Sean isn’t letting the Naya Rivera situation–for lack of a better, non-explicit term–get the best of him and his love life. Now, back to the music. If you haven’t heard “Paradise”, “IDFWU”, “Jit/Juke” or “4th Quarter” yet, please do so here, and understand why we’re as excited for Big Sean’s yet-to-be-titled 3rd LP as he is.
