It appears Rocky szn is upon us

A$AP Rocky has pretty much gone missing since the release of his debut album, Long.Live.A$AP, which was released in January of 2013. Sure, there have been music videos galore from his album, A$AP Ferg‘s Trap Lord and more, but there hasn’t been an official single, mixtape, or album from the Harlem upstart in nearly 2 years. According to A$AP Yams, that’s about to change.

The bad news here is that Yams stated very clearly on his Tumblr that the oft-talked about A$AP Mob compilation album isn’t happening. “L.O.R.D. is scrapped,” he says, but the upside to that is that we can expect new Rocky and, apparently, A$AP Nast music before 2014 is over. In fact, Late last night, Yams posted a website to his Tumblr, FLACKOJODYESEASON.COM, which consists of nothing but an ominous countdown that ends at 11:59pm on Thursday night, meaning first thing Friday morning, we’ll have a new announcement from A$AP Rocky. We don’t know what the announcement is yet–it could be an album/single release date or new music–but according to the countdown, it won’t be long before we know.

Also, there’s an interesting tidbit amongst Yams’ Tumblr Q&A, in which someone asked Yams whether there would be an A$AP Mob x Dipset collaboration coming any time soon. Yams’ response was rather telling.
