Fresh off the release of Low Pros, Lex Luger’s collaborative project with A-Trak, he connects with the recently resurgent NEAKO on a 3 song EP entitled “The xanBand”. Last time these two collaborated it was on the trap classic “In Every City“. A few laters, NEAKO has morphed his flow into more a drugged-out world that channels the esoteric world of auto-tune expression with a healthy dosage of Xanax and Lean; makes so much sense in a post-“Drill Music” era where Chief Keef has graduated to a style that resembles a BASED expression of emotion instead of old-school lyricism. Subdued, melodic and at the same time, carrying the same musical DNA that birthed modern trap music, namely Lex Luger on the boards, this mini-mixtape is a dope experiment in modern trap music. It may sound strange now, but this is definitely futuristic. Listen to the collaborative EP below.
