SOURCE360 began the resurgence of the hip-hop culture. Thousands of people came out to enjoy educational conferences, parties and events, all in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn. So of course when The Source had our first annual SOURCE360 concert at the Barclays Center, it was only right to have the hottest act from the borough come out and bring the whole town with her. Queen Bee Lil Kim showed up and showed out for her hometown, giving us the performance of two lifetimes.
The leader of La Bella Mafia shmoney-danced from one side of the stage to the other all night, reminding fans- old and new- why she still reigns as the female rap heavyweight. Even fellow rappers Maino and Havoc of Mobb Deep made an appearance during her set, hyping up the crowd as she brought down the house with her villainous bars.
