We feel him. They still won’t give him the Oscar

Leonardo Dicaprio was in the running to play Steve Jobs in the upcoming David Boyle-directed biopic, until he wasn’t. Dicaprio has withdrawn his name from consideration for the part in favor of focusing on his upcoming starring role in The Revenant, a 2015 Western thriller. David Fincher, who just struck box office gold with Gone Girl (Ben Affleck) was originally the director of the film, but he also pulled out, due to not being granted the $10 million upfront fee he requested.

Sony is now looking to replace Dicaprio, and their new wish-list consists of some pretty hefty superstars. Christian Bale, Matt Damon, Bradley Cooper and Ben Affleck. Affleck could be headed for a career year.
