Jin discusses the inspiration behind the album and how it tackles fifteen fleeting minutes of  fame. Looking back at all that has transpired since he signed on with Ruff Ryders, Jin essentially wanted this album to address how he’s spent his time and what he would leave his fan with if his time was up. “Complicated” tells the story of how MC jin’s mentor helped put him on to the rap game and how their relationship became complicated as Jin’s life seemed to changed in a matter of fifteen minutes.
