Grime music has been around for a minute now, created in the hood in the UK by a bunch of English/Caribbean kids who rap really fast over garage, drum and bass, dance-hall and hip-hop fused beats. Spreading and maintaining itself culturally, it was only a matter of time when it would arrive in America. One of the earliest looks we got from Grime King Skepta was P. Diddy back when they released the “Hello Good Morning” Remix.

Skepta has been grinding with his BBK (Boy Better Know) label mates along with his brother JME. Safe to say Skepta has earned the likes of many in the industry or should I say been earned? After dropping “That’s Not Me” featuring JME, the UK sensation caught fire which lead to “That’s Not Me” US remix in which Young Lord aka A$AP Bari was spotted cooling with Skepta. Assumptions were new music was coming from the two entities, now it is here.

Having performed two shows together in East London recently, Young Lord and Skepta unite for the follow-up track entitled “It Ain’t Safe”. The track will be out on Boy Better Know Recordings on 2 November 2014. Stream it below.
