Here’s a fun fact for you: As a kid, Kevin Durant was really big on meteorology. Due to his childhood interests and superstar career, Nike came up with a new colorway of the Nike KD 7, and after weeks of anticipation, the “Uprising” kicks are finally here.
Some people may compare Durant’s career to sprite lightning, and according to Nike, it is the intriguing phenomenon that inspired these kicks. The design plays into the theme with a Hyper Jade, Photo Blue and Volt colorway, and interesting lightning graphics on the shoe’s upper. The “Uprising” kicks are then finished off with black accents on the strap, midsole & inner lining and an atmospheric Nike swoosh.
The Nike KD 7 “Uprising” was released this past Thursday (10/16), but is still available at most major retailers for you and the rest of the family.
