Let’s not perpetuate the nonsense
The shocking elevator videos that showed Ray Rice punching his wife in the face so hard she was knocked unconscious was a story so big and polarizing it overshadowed the actual games being played in the NFL early in the season. It was a very damaging time for the league, Ray Rice’s wife, and the young people that look up to NFL players like Ray Rice as role models, and thankfully most of the conversation surrounding the videos have subsided. So, making light of the situation to gain popularity within a pop culture staple isn’t the right move at all, and someone forgot to tell this guy.
