2(X)IS, a leader in men’s underwear, apparel, and accessories, presented their Spring/Summer 2015 collection at the Skylight Modern in Chelsea.
The pre-show ambiance was vibrant, and the reception room filled quickly with curious bloggers, buyers, and press ready for the presentation.
Eclectic prints featuring zebra stripes, mini polka dots, and hawaiian inspired florals dominated the collection, and the zebra interpretation in various colors seemed to be the favorite amongst the crowd.
Scattered in between the bright neon briefs and short swimsuits were a few accessory options as well. Expect to see duffle bags and a small selection of backpacks next season.
We wish that there was more apparel. Only a couple light jackets were shown in the typical shades of grey, and the tank tops were fairly simple – considering the unique design of the already released “PIMA SQUARE CUT” tank. At least a handful of them were done in a washed out rainbow print reminiscent of a couple similarly colored briefs.
Overall, the collection was striking, and once again gave an another exciting twist to men’s underwear. Music by Steve Aoki and other electro-house artists added to the excitement, and as you would expect from an underwear show… everyone loved the models.
