Someone’s ready for the season to start

The preseason is winding down now, and with the 2014-2015 NBA season just about ready to get going, teams are doing their final tune-ups as they get ready to take on the daunting task of playing May basketball. The Knicks may not have the supporting cast Carmelo Anthony needs, but he certainly looks ready to go.

In last night’s pre-season game against the Wizards, Melo–in classic Melo fashion–hit the go-ahead shot (which proved to be the game winner) with roughly 14 seconds left on the clock. In the above video, you can see Melo battling on the wing to get to his sweet spot, receive the pass and turn around and hit a tough jumper. And 1.

The Knicks open their season on Oct. 29th at home against the rejuvenated Bulls, who, despite losing Luol Deng, now have a healthy Derrick Rose and their new toy, Pau Gasol, at their disposal.
