Kobe isn’t here for the small talking

The best part about the 2014-2015 Los Angeles Lakers will undoubtedly and unequivocally be Kobe Bryant‘s return to form as he’s spent the majority of the past two seasons in and out of surgery and recovery. So far, all indications point to the fact that everyone’s predictions of the Lakers’ season, which revolve around the words “tragic” and “0-82”, will come to fruition, but Kobe Bryant is determined to separate himself from those notions. In the clip above, Kobe blows by Matt Barnes on the baseline for the slam, and below is a clip of Kobe, guarded by Matt Barnes once again, beating a Clippers’ double-team for the ridiculous up-and-under at the rim.

Below that, is an example of why Kobe and Barnes being adversaries on the court is one of the funniest one-on-one rivalries in the NBA.
