Kendrick season approaching arrives
Kendrick Lamar sashays his way through the video for his popular new single, “i,” much like he’s waltzed to the top of the rap game: with ease, candor and precision. While we don’t have a release date or title for his highly-anticipated sophomore album, Kendrick has been teasing his return all week, with two major radio interviews–you can watch his conversation with DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God on this morning’s edition of The Breakfast Club below–and minor chit-chat of a new single, praised highly by HBO’s Scott Vener, “King Kunta”. K. Dot maintains his message of “i” being a record for people struggling with jail sentences, self-esteem issues and suicidal thoughts with subliminal messages spread throughout the entertaining visual, and Ronald Isley joins him for a joyride through the city.
