We all have our favorite rappers. From 2Pac, Biggie, Nas or Jay, there are legends of our time that deserve their due respect for their undeniable impact on hip hop and American culture. Kanye, whether you like him or not, is the focus and trendsetter of choice for Detroit’s Earlly Mac’s new joint, “Like Kanye” featuring Icewear Vezzo. The tribute song highlights a few of Kanye’s traits, over a Ying Yang Twins-like snap beat produced by Ice Pic. Earlly Mac is one of the founding fathers of Finally Famous alongside SayItAintTone, Mike Posner and G.O.O.D Music member, Big Sean.

The video for “Like Kanye”, is creatively inspired by a few of Kanye’s greatest moments. Watch it here.

As a pre-Thanksgiving appetizer, Earlly Mac is co-headlining a Detroit show with Atlanta’s OG Maco on November 25 at the Magic Stick. Although the 2 talents have seemingly different styles, Earlly insists they that “Maco is NOT just not just “You Guessed It“, he can really spit. I really respect his project and wanted other people to know about it too.”

Earlly Mac’s EP, Earl Pose is due out early 2015.
