When keeping it real goes wrong. A 68-year old Utah man, John Richard Velenzuela, pulled out a loaded rifle and pointed it at his 17-year old daughter following a dispute over the board game they were both playing, Battleship. The daughter herself called 911 several times on her father and thanks to the GPS chip in her phone, police in Utah County were able to locate the girl and her father. According to a WPTV report, Valenzuela’s daughter tried to leave the trailer they were playing Battleship in, but Valenzuela grabbed her by the hair and blocked her exit. Valenzuela was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and suspicion of intoxication, suggesting his manic actions were triggered by his being drunk.
