Fabolous celebrated his birthday at Liberty Theater on Tuesday November 18 with his ‘Love & Hip Hop’ lady Emily B. Themed ‘A Night in the 90’s,’ guests including Ne-Yo and DJ Khaled sported throw back clothing and flip phones in a nod to the iconic era. Lil Kim, Mase, Swizz Beatz and Raekwon then jumped on the mike with Fab to spit verse and wish him a happy birthday while a cake shaped like a gold and white Rolex was presented to him. Kid Capri was on the decks playing the best beats of the decade while the 500 guests including Ma$e, Lil Mama, Mack Wilds, Teyana Taylor, and Dennis L.A White danced on the banquettes.

Hennessy VS and The Global Spin Awards hosted a “GSA Honoree Dinner” Honoring Hip Hop Pioneers DJ Premier and Funk Master Flex at ZBar in NYC. Guests including DJ Khaled, DJ Premier, Harve Pierre and DJ Jazzy Joyce were treated to a multi course meal including, Charcuterie, Chilean Sea Bass, Grilled Chicken and specialty Hennessy V.S cocktails. During the evening Shawn Prez toasted to Premier & Flex who were presented with the Hennessy V.S Limited Edition Shepard Fairey Bottle and the Hennessy Privilege Limited Edition.

Hennessy V.S helped YMCMB’s own Drake continue his Birthday Celebration at The South Beach hotspot Story night club. Upon his arrival around 2am, a mega Hennessy bottle parade surrounded his table. Joining Drake was his Young Money Fam Lil Wayne and Mack Maine as well as Fabolous, The Game, Timbaland, Lil Jon and more. Feeling the love from the crowd Drake hit the DJ Booth and turned his birthday party into a show and performed several of his hits and was then joined by Travis Scott and The Game on Stage.

On Friday, November 21 the innovators and skilled craftsmen of Good Wood NYC along with DJ Paul celebrated the launch of the limited edition Lord Infamous Smoke Kit at NYC’s BabyCastles.  DJ Paul along with Co-Founders of Good Wood Leo Kau and Keri O’Connell were at the mixer mingling with guests which was sponsored by 20 Grand Vodka. The Lord Infamous Smoke Kit which celebrates the life of Lord Infamous and his contributions to the hip hop community is made of Baltic Birchwood wood grain and features specialized compartments for items such as a grinder, papers, cigars, one-hitter and more.

Saturday night, Roc Nation Sports officially welcomed Dez Bryant to their roster with a party at The 40/40 Club in Manhattan. The JAY Z room was decked out in blue and white balloons with bottles of D’USSE and Armand de Brignac (Ace of Spades) lining every private table. Dez proudly walked into the room rocking a Roc Nation Sports hat and chain and later enjoyed a belated birthday cake in the shape of the Dallas Cowboys Star with “Welcome To Roc Nation Sports” across the center (Dez proudly took a few iPhone photos of the cake). New Roc Nation Sports executive Shawn ‘Pecas’ Costner was in attendance to proudly welcome Dez to the Roc Nation Sports team.
